perfect petal storm
As I was searching for lighting references for his shoot today whilst driving home from the other side of Sydney on a rare Sunday that actually felt like a Sunday, I came across something I feel everyone should know about, especially on the Monday where I hear uni starts back.
Sasha and her climbing delicate little fingers and edible smile. "4 steps, 3 degress, 2 measures...".
The roaring and crashing noises and one perfect petal storm.
Watch it and giggle then do it again. It has to be the best thing I've seen this year.
Photo & video: Prada Eyewear Spring 2013 by Steven Meisel, flawless beauty by Pat McGrath, hair by Olivier Rizzo featuring quite the power pack of girls; Amber Valletta, Eva Herzigova, Irene Hiemstra, Irinia Kravchenko, Maartje Verhoef, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Saskia de Brauw, Sung Hee Kim, Kristen Owen, & Vanessa Axente.
A Zig Zag in Time
I really love Missoni. It reminds me of my best friend and of really desiring luxury for the first time when I spotted a bedroom setup in Spence & Lyda on Foster St sometime circa 2004.
I love the family, the product, the zig zag, the drama, the casualness, my beach towel, the pop, the culture, the beach, the bar, the placement, the vision, the idea and most (recently) of all; these S/S 13 campaign portraits.

me and....
Photographs that Matt Jones, offspring of i-D founder Terry Jones, take are the hardest kind of photos to track down on the internet...and also the best. I am challenging myself to find something he has shot that I don't thoroughly enjoy. His girls are that pretty type of beautiful...and smile, he let's them smile...or maybe makes them smile. Either way I'd like to be on location with Mr Jones once upon a future time.
PS. PLEASE check out the fine specimen of a woman that is Eniko Mihalik. Woahdaddy.

Have long been obsessed with Darren Macdonald's work, that you may better know as Cold After Midnight. This little beauty is his recent campaign for Ellery Resort Collection feat the always relevant Kim Noorda shot under the beautiful & unmistakeable Parisian light. le sighhhh

bonjour
Who saw Midnight in Paris and fell in love with Lea Seydoux after shockingly being snapped out of the long dreamy affair you'd had with Rachel McAdams as the perfect woman? Me.
...only to be set straight by this. Oh Rachel. You are a dream boat.
But wait that's not the point, the point is the image of Lea for the Prada capsule jewellery collection/resort campaign. I have to admit the campaign as a whole didn't quite meet my soaring expectations but in my books that one image alone gives it enough credit to ride on the wave of it's hype.

My friend can testify to the fact that I went into a man coma as I stood jaw ajar in front of the larger than life Indigofera posters currently hanging in the windows of Paddingtons That Store.
I still don't really know what else can be said. But yeah. I'd be happy if the Father of my children resembled that long haired male creature in any way shape or form. Meow.
Massive love for Calle too. Absolute master at capturing essence.

The 6 seconds from 0:42-0:48 make the other 54 seconds of soft porn almost completely bearable.
Late night, last shift, left over flowers from a function, delirious at my desk with my lamp way too bright.
Is everyone enjoying Spring transition? I'm starting to smell it in the air and see it in the light.

Arnsdorf. I'm going to start a small section of my closet purely dedicated to this label. I lived in a pale pink button-up all summer long, since aquired a khaki green one of the same style and plan to wear my indigo high waisted's till there is no more 4% elastane (NB: this translates to 10 points on the comfort scale) left.

Next on the list; 100% silk folded collar shirt in Rust and skivvy dress in Rouge (or Ink or Nude for that matter) please and thank you.

There may or may not be 22 images following these words so if you have tired unappreciative eyes don't bother scrolling south.
My highest praise and deepest admiration goes out to David James for each and every work. As if the images aren't enough on their own, you now have the chance to delve into the 'conceptual genius' of each project. Ugh, overwhelmed.
