Who saw Midnight in Paris and fell in love with Lea Seydoux after shockingly being snapped out of the long dreamy affair you'd had with Rachel McAdams as the perfect woman? Me.


...only to be set straight by this. Oh Rachel. You are a dream boat.

But wait that's not the point, the point is the image of Lea for the Prada capsule jewellery collection/resort campaign. I have to admit the campaign as a whole didn't quite meet my soaring expectations but in my books that one image alone gives it enough credit to ride on the wave of it's hype.

Mesmerised by this clip from Bonjour Tristesse, the film adaptation of 17 year old Françoise Sagan's classic literary effort.

If that wasn't enough - I almost wet. my. pants. when I saw the following.
If I had of created these images I promise you I would be loving myself so sick it would make you gag.
Makes me wanna be a lady in the least ladylike way possible.

I struggled through Desert Flower when it came to the genital mutation chapter (legs-crossed-feet-numb-spine-tingles kinda struggled) but am especially glad I pushed through now that the movie is coming out. I used to always think books>film but am slowly being convinced otherwise. Excited to see this. Liya...what a babe.

I do not believe I could even begin to describe the way I felt after seeing this. I can tell you it is one of, if not the most beautiful films I have ever seen. Cinematography and creative direction is flawless. The rest...you will have to discover for yourself

Was there every step of the way. I'm not sure what I thought of Lou Doillon before but now I know I love her, this would have not been half as magnificently beautiful/cheeky/interesting/captivating without.

I probably am not educated enough in the area of CGI to give this a valid critique but to me its absolutely mind blowingly amazing...was honestly haunted by the beauty of some of the frames and to think its done by one man and his pc. Incredible. This "Compositing Breakdown" gives a small glimpse into the process.
New discovery, so lacking knowledge on the artist/form/process, but about to go for a trip down google lane and see what I can pull up. Will be sure to share any essential viewing.

Haven't had any desire to see (or even knowledge of) this movie until I stumbled across a few beautiful screen shots. When there's good (generally don't like using good as an adjective but too tired to think of anything better right now) style and pretty lighting I can't imagine I would find the movie too painful to watch despite some shocking reviews I have since read. Maybe a nice reward for when I finish my assessment tomorrow night?!

The movie ended, the credits rolled, I let them finish and then pressed play - again. Twice in one night, thats how my love affair started.
I can't figure out how or why I am so obsessed with this movie but I am...even just thinking about it gives me the sudden need and urge to watch or more like be a part of it.

I think the best thing about this ed was that it reminded me that you can be inspired by the past while still keeping it fresh and current. Not to mention Aurelia is drop dead gorgeous.
