Back down the mountain

To be in a place where there is a fireplace and a bath and Aesop toileteries to soak in, a well equipped kitchen with a gas stove and Pana chocolate in the fridge, cosy robes in the wardrobe and a real heavy (IN BED linen) doona to sleep under. At first I wasn't sure what to do with it all. Do I sit, lay down, go for a walk, cook, listen to music, wander aimlessly around the cottage exploring all the treasures, take another bath, stand in front of the fire staring at Tim whilst he also tries to find his way of slowing down? I finally settled for a healthy combination of all of the above, felt my body start to unwind and then before I knew it was sadly pulling the door shut behind me as we set out for that familiar drive home through Berry mountain and back up the highway.

Thank you dear Lisa. I don't know how you do it but The Cottage is everything you ever dreamed it to be...and more. A place of rest and a treat for all the senses. xxx

I highly recommend booking a couple of nights here to see what you find for yourself!

PS. This has accidently turned to a blog dedicated to South Coast NSW holidays. Sorry about that. I'll change the pace next post.

What's up

Our view, the ocean (every time...sorry), beers, Alex's infamous Toyota Cresida, barefoot adventures, sunrise, setting up a Christmas tree (a real nice smelling one), native flowering gum (my favourite!), boys and meat, meat, brisket, Tim the texas smoke man, boys, spearfishing, Boat Harbour, a party on our balcony, the best new years eve yet, squid jigs, last light, my man catches dinner...and cooks it and is just all round my favourite person to spend the summer (/my life) with. That's what's been up in Cronulla these past couple of months.

JUST COS

Model Charlotte Coquelin @ IMG Hair&Makeup Naomi McFadden Stylist Inez Gargia Photographer Tim husband Ashton  Assistant Alex Tracey

Late last year, right before Cos opened in Melbourne, we took a boot full of pieces out to the cliffs and let Charlotte hang about in them whilst he took photos of her and I took photos of him taking photos of her all for Inez Daily. I wrote out my shopping list and still need to go visit Cos.

I'm not much in the mood for writing this stormy Saturday night (...though writing that did make it sound like a good time to be in the mood...so maybe now I am?) but I just want to say that I really will make a good attempt at giving more personal photos I took a home here. I have over 1000 frames of film scans that do deserve to see the light of day, or at least my/your computer screen, so you will have to bear with the non sequential way things may roll out. I'll try to tell a story or two too - with any luck they will be at least a little more emotive than this evenings efforts. Zzzzz........z..z.........
