I see what I dream when I look at these photos. Not aesthetically so much as I do in spirit and sentiment. It's Mothers Day and whilst people like to harp on about the load of crock that occasions like this are - for commercial reasons and such - I like to think these women, these Mums, have one of the most deserving roles to be celebrated. 

I see friendship & intimacy, I see freedom & fun, peace & contentment, strength & vulnerabilty...I see what I want. 

These are the desires of my heart.

eleven. Central Park

Whilst I may not be there physically this May the cool weather has me drifting back to this particular February day spent in Central Park. I sat rugged up on a bench with a beautiful sleeping baby in my arms watching the other 2 feed the ducks. So gossip girl (minus the 3 children). 

  twelve. Carl Kapp

 

Last week, Carl Kapp put on a slick and stunning show for MBFWA. The tailoring was spot on with enough amazing colour and floaty features to take it far away from the potential middle age, glam, wealthy, office wear market and put it in the pocket of cool, young and classic.

Romance

What is there for me to say about Romance Was Born's MBFWA show that hasn't been tweeted, instagramed, blogged, printed, facebooked about already? Well, not much really. 36 hour time lapse during fashion week is ancient history by social media standards...but here's what I saw anyway. Highlights: wetted down concrete floor, high ceilings, copious amounts of beautiful natural light flooding all corners of the building, watching everyone check everyone out, the larger than life Marvel pop-up, the opening, rainbow sequins (they just never get old), the CUTEST baby wearing a (apparently RWB customised) green knit beanie which just happened to compliment Mark Vassallo orange one. Dislikes: pushy security during show.

Words cannot. I really just can't even explain howww good perfect these are too me in every which way. I feel like I need to vomit some askjdbjhdbfgjsdvbljshdvbjhsdfb jksdgfvsdfwerijvnslcvygelf on my keyboard to replace my indescribable feelings. I love small humans and great photography and styling and clever shot selections. And um, I love Wildfox?
