A sticky 34 degree February day spent enjoying the ocean, catching up on reading + sleep, re-watching The Septemeber Issue and dreaming of looking hot and bothered in a similiar manner to Anja Rubick in this ed. Having a brief moment with colour (must be that VC film doing to me) and very much in awe of the way this is shot...bronzed babe on tropical utopia isn't the hardest subject to find beauty in, but the composition, use of shade/shadow and colour give an edge that was just screaming "POST ME" a little louder than all those other bronzed babe on tropical utopia eds I do love, but have become slightly immune to.

Mesmerizing. My annoyance for those little red underlining dots, informing me I've misspelled a word, has no limit so I occasionally go along with what my dear Mac tells me is correct and end up with American spellings, which, I have only just discovered, annoy me even more so. Am going to take a stand [or change my computer dictionary - possible?] against this

So.....

Mesmerising. NO you dam Mac I have not MISPELT that....nor that. I may sound insane because you can't see them. But I can.

Having these moments lately where I feel so happy I think I might just burst into laughter for no apparent reason, or explode with smiles, or break out in song & dance or do a little skip. I'm not sure why but it's great. I don't know what the future holds but it (currently)looks bright, not overwhelming (as I would've perhaps expressed in posts gone by). It's all a journey...welcome aboard.

They look FUN! These were a couple of my fav multiple exposures. They were shot with Holga 120FN untaped with Kodak Portra 160VC. Didn't fully understand that when it says VC it really means it (Vivid COlour). Next time I will make better use of this. But I do like the one with my feet/poppin toe nail colour (cute, huh?). Tomorrow I will buy some more film. I can't wait.

Sorry I haven't been posting as often as I would like this month/year. Stay tuned. I'm gonna get regular.

Yours truly,

Rachel Kara

I do like love a lot...I'm just not in it right now and that is ok. Love is patient.

Have only just noticed my new bent for animation and film.

captivated

Was there every step of the way. I'm not sure what I thought of Lou Doillon before but now I know I love her, this would have not been half as magnificently beautiful/cheeky/interesting/captivating without.

Holy smokes. Cute kitty. Overtly sexual yet very well done.

I have taken up Twitter as of yesterday. I did dabble very briefly earlier last year but as my mind is moving at quite a pace these days it may well be the beginning of a great partnership. Comment with your links lovely people and follow me @ rachelkara
