And just like that a week has gone by where every night I slept soundly with a doona, reached for shoes and socks over strappy sandals and needed a sweater for the afternoon strolls. A week is plenty long enough to start romanticising the summer you just had...with sparkling waters and magical sunsets and long hot nights sitting on the balcony waiting for the temperature to drop so you can finally go to bed. But then I realise we're not done, it's January, so not even close. I'll get back to you next month on the summer I had.
